Music downloads not allowed

I was recently washing at a local laundromat and the lady in charge warned me not to download any music. Is it legal to download videos from you tube and burn them to a dvd. I know that sites like musicfrost are not kosher.

The issues are website source dependent - - some are ok and others not. The issue for the laundry owner is their IP gets tracked and sited when there are download restrictions. She needs someone to put a filter on her router to stop it.

I guess that means that someone downloaded from the wrong website from where she is.
