Greetings everyone and happy new year.

I've been helping my brother-in-law disinfect his PC. I've followed all the step-by-step instructions, and here are the requested logs. Two of the logs are attached, and since the AVG log was about 500k and exceeded this forum's 100k limit, I've stored the AVG log for download at

The AVG log is big because it has removed all your session cookies (and listed them)
Session cookies and temporary Internet files can be removed by goin to Tools Internet options in you browser.
Or by downloading and running CCleaner which is always a good idea.
You may also download and install (plus update) and scan with Spybots S&D
Plus Ad-aware (as bove with install/update/scan)
Also always make sure your Antivirus is up to date

Ah, yes. I had run Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D, but I guess they used the computer between then and when I came back and finished the preliminary instruction sequence, with HJT.
