G'day all,
I am building a new computer (first time) and i have the case, added the Asus Mobo, 2 hard drives, added the Ram 1Gb, and an older Graphic card, connected the power turned it on get 1 beep and a black screen
The thing is it all comes from another system (that worked 100% fine) i have just added a new case and my own Sound cards etc...
The screen works fine on this system that i am using now but when plugging it in to the new board nothing, just a black screen. So here is the dumb question..The system that the setup came from was using a 21" LCD screen, the hard drives have not been formated yet so could the system be having problems with my older Sony Multiscan SFII screen???? I am a bit lost i have checked all the cables taken the ram out and put it back, the fan spins fine on the Graphic card so that has power ok?? Any suggestion would really help, cause i am stuck!!!! The board is an Asus A7v333 board
