Hi guys,
I need some short and straight-forward answers for these question at this step.
Thank you all very much in advance for the answers.
1- How is a bit stored on RAM or HDD? I mean, there should be some units like a box to be used for storing a bit whether that bit is 1 or 0. If so, what is the name of such boxes? Are they named flip-flop?
2- How is a virtual CPU used and what is the hyper-threading?
3-What is a cache? What is its levels for (L1, L2, L3)? Is a cache visible? Can CPUs work without a cache? And how do I be able to see the memory size of my computer’s CPU cache?
4- Do ROMs exist nowadays? If not, what instead of them?
5- Is there something named “Flash Dish”?! (I haven't heard this!)
6- What is a cluster in a HDD?
