NEC Solutions America, a division of NEC, has announced a new line of jumbo XGA native resolution plasma displays, intended for use in conference rooms and for broadcast and multimedia applications.
The PlasmaSync 42XM2 is a 42-inch model, with 1024 by 768 XGA resolution, and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $6495. The 50XM3 is a 50-inch model with a WideXGA resolution of 1365 by 758, and is priced at $9995. At the high end is the 61-inch 61XM2, with 1365 by 768 WideXGA resolution, priced at $19,995.
