Need advice to maximize system potential

im a serious HL2DM player too. but with the newest nvidia driver 185.85 give the game some glitches and low fps 45-60 most of the time even with my XFX 9800GTX+

Ahh...well run a driver cleaner, get rid of those new drivers, then go ahead and install the second latest drivers .

well i'm a bit mo appreciative of the fps i have then, ty 4 the heads up on that.

There is no such thing as too many!
