Need help windows 7 upgrade disk and restore to factory settings

Hi, I'm supposed to be getting a free upgrade disk to windows 7 64-bit in october and i was wondering if i could do a could do a clean install of windows 7 off the upgrade disk. if i cant i was also wondering if i could restore back to vista, the only problem is vista home premium 64-bit came preinstalled and i dont have any disks with me.

any help appreciated =D

Just get the Windows 7 Full disc.

i know i could get the full disc but i dont throw 170 bucks on a retail version of the disk, it just doesn't seem worth it to me
