Need help with MSSEARCHNET.EXE

and it never came to a conclusion. Also it never addressed the problem with whatever this thing is on the toolbar

and it has this annoying popup

I have removed all the virus exept for this thing...

Any Ideas?

Any help would be great.

Go HERE and follow the steps as outlined.

Post a fresh HJT log, only after doing the above.

Are you sure that is a full HJT log? It seems very short.

I can`t see anything nasty in that log.

I agree... That is why I am so confused. I went through and cleaned it all out. It had a lot of nasty stuff earlier. But now all that remains is that Icon on the taskbar and the annoying popup! I am lost as to how it is still working. I checked every recource I know and that thing is still there... It doesnt "link" to anything, and right clicking on it does nothing. It is just there. About every 5 min it gives me that red popup??? I do not understand at all...?

Yea I tried that... I dont understand at all... I have worked with computers for years and this is one of the first times I cannot proceed to solve the problem..

But oh well. This PC need to be reformated anyway.
