Need help with PC Upgrade

So, you mean if I put a 3xxx card on the board, I'll be able to use both the onboard and the PCI-e one as if I am using Crossfire? Does it also apply to the AMD 785G chipset?

I think Red means that the onboard video chipset is a 3xxx Series.

Yes, it's called Hybrid Crossfire, and it only works with an HD 2400 or HD 3400. But the performance is still pretty abysmal compared to a standalone card like the HD 4770. It's not worth it IMO.

I am going to buy Xigmatek Dark Knight Cpu Cooler, its says it supports AM2 on the specs. And, the Phenom II is AM3, Will it fit?

Oh yea I completely forgot, I was also planning to change case because I don't think the PSU will fit.

The case depends on your budget.

My preference : CM690 > Antec 300 > Thermaltake M9

If you've got a higher budget go for the HAF932.

You could try the NZXT Alpha.

Just ensure that the Xigmatek fits.

Hey I looked up the specs of the CM690, it supports 7 120mm fans, that's awesome. I can already imagine how much OC i'll be able to do. I think i'll have that one. It's a Mid-Tower case, the Dark Knight will fit? What's the difference between a full Tower and a Mid Tower( I know in size but I mean, what can I fit more) ?

E-ATX mobos fit only in Full Towers I guess.

The Xigmatek should fit. I have the CM690 with the OCZ Vendetta 2 seated comfortably in it.

Hey I am getting another mobo for some $25 less but it reads " Support for DDR2 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 MHz memory modules " on the supported memory. Its the GA-MA790X-UD4P from here http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products...ard&ProductID=3038&ProductName=GA-MA790X-UD4P

But I will buy OCZ reaper DDR2 667 MHz, Will I be able to use it with the mobo?
