Hi All,
I am looking to buy a beast of a gaming/graphics design desktop for Christmas,
Budget 2,000 - 3,000.
Looking to play games like Crysis 3 on max settings or any other high spec games without any worries about the game slowing up.
Let me know your suggestions for a gaming rig. Also I want to get a beast of a monitor maybe in February to make things even better but will leave that for another discussion.
Is going with two graphics cards better than going with one? Any good suggestions on websites?
I have came across a few suggested websites but not sure if I can post them here

Depends on which route you want to go. Dual GTX 970's is better than a single GTX 980. With that kind of budget you could go for dual GTX 980's though, and there's not much that'll top that.

As for brands: I recommend Cyberware Computers (google them, I don't think I'm allowed to post a link).

I've purchased from a few different pre-built companies now, and I have by far had the best experience at Cyberware. Give them a call and tell them what you want. They'll be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks, I checked them out but not sure if they deliver to Ireland. I might stick with pcspecialist from the uk where I got my laptop. They seem to offer the same prices.
Dual GTX 980's would be pretty awesome then yea? Also would a top class monitor then make things even better quality?

Dual GTX 980's are going to provide a monstrous amount of power :) Yes, a top class monitor would make things even better. If it's in your budget, look for something along the lines of 4K resolution at 144Hz.

After further investigating I have been informed that one GTX 980 will run every game out there on Ultra settings at the moment(Correct me if wrong) so I may hold off on getting two GFX cards yet, and if needed I can just get them later. Going to get the monitor after Christmas hopefully in January.
