New PC's integrated graphics wont work

So I recently built a gaming PC and it took some time but I got it all running, but when I connect it via HDMI, since its the only display port on my motherboard, it wont show anything. I currently don't have a graphics card and am running an Intel I7 7700k, a single 16gb stick of ram, and am using a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 7 motherboard. I know I have enough power and all my components are working, but maybe I forgot a wire or plugged it into the wrong place. Please make all answers somewhat simplified, I'm still kind of new to this even though I get the majority of what I'm doing.
