Not happy with paid article

"Why Xbox Game Pass is the future of gaming" is an ad masquerading as an article. I didn't like it. It also doesn't have a comment box, probably because it's obvious that it will get negative feedback.

In the list of links it does say "Sponsored by Microsoft". Techspot is not trying to hide that fact.



It is even stated on the bottom of the article.
"This is a sponsored post brought to you in collaboration with Microsoft Xbox."

It is a sponsored article, it is labeled as such on the homepage, at the top of the article and at the bottom of the article. We don't enable comments on sponsored articles by default.

In the print world they are called advertorials, in the web they're often labeled "native advertising." We're not trying to mislead anyone and we've been doing it for quite some time. As long as we are clear on what it is, and that the advertiser wants to promote a certain story in "news post" format instead of doing a banner or some other form of ad. They happen to be advertising a product (and deal) we approve of, too
