Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says gamers calling DLSS 5 AI slop are "completely wrong"

Nvidia stopped being a graphics company sometime ago, they are an AI company now. They are the ones who have pushed AI forward and single handedly feeding/ sustaining the current AI frenzy. It is to be expected that everything is an AI “nail” to them.

I wish he would just max out DLSS5 on his leather jackets. They are so unsuitable for him it's impossible however good/bad the tech is that it could look any worse than it does when he prances around giving news conferences on film.

Perhaps I'm wrong and the leather jackets are actually just awful A.I. implementation?

Regardless, he should re think his wardrobe. Major malfunction.

Looking at the technology, I completely believe what he said is true.

Looking at the technology showcase which overdid everything to such an extreme extent, I also believe those saying it looks like AI slop

I look at DLSS5 and just get uncomfortable. I don't know what it is, they look hyper real while also looking fake. My brain registers that something is wrong but doesn't know what it is. I've seen creepy pictures and gory pictures. DLSS5 tickles that same part of my brain that I can best discribe as "being uncomfortable"

Don't worry, YouTube and it's flbusdies have been hard at work programming and desensitizing the next generations to not notice the uncanny valley effect

I cannot take Jensen's words seriously. Every time I listen, I kind of feel like I am listen to a kid talking. For example, RTX 5070 = RTX 4090.... Another one, "The more you buy, the more you save". I wonder he actually listens to what he says or he basically runs it by AI and just takes the output for his speech with no concerns of the AI hallucinating.

Jensen's the frontman to keep us distracted while the decision makers clean house

Or... it can allow (some) artists to get lazy and just let the AI fill in the blanks as it deems fit. Especially someone on a tight schedule.

Bad & lazy will be bad and lazy. That will come out of the woodwork and be rewarded with low sales!
