Nvidia has launched a new set of GeForce beta drivers, version 347.09, which are Game Ready for Elite: Dangerous and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Both of these titles launched this week on Windows, in what's the last main week for releases in the year.

Aside from Game Ready enhancements for the aforementioned titles, Nvidia has updated a few game profiles for games such as Project Cars, Alien: Isolation and Far Cry 4. Some of these new profiles improve 3D Vision performance and compatibility for those with stereoscopic 3D monitors.

As always, you can download the drivers automatically through GeForce Experience, or grab them manually from our driver download section. If you want to see exactly what bugs Nvidia has fixed since the previous release, check their release notes here.

Elite dangerous worked just fine with the older drivers. I think nvidia just likes to pop it's head up every time a new game comes out for some free publicity and to show that they "care". It's a bit like the guy behind the news reporter on the street doing a live tv link.
