My EVGA GTX1080ti FTW3 OC edition is quite possibly the best PC part I ever purchased. In terms of longetivity. Yes. 11GB GDDR5X. 1GB more than the RTX 3080 (slower, but still).
Still perfectly capable of many classics. Doom 2016 Totally maxed - No prob.
Pretty much anything up to 2020 even 2021 it can handle admirably.
Of course it can't do RTX features, and for modern AAA games - not really viable, but that's totally expected.
Anyone who plays games released up to and including 2020 still has a stellar card.
I doubt we will ever see such a magnificent GPU in terms of everything ever again.
