OC with locked cpu

If my cpu is locked can I overclock other parts of my hardware(gpu,ram) or it will cause problems???

If you have a motherboard that supports Ram overclocking then you can overclock the Ram. For GPU overclocking use the manufacturer's software. Make sure to only overclock one thing at a time and by small amounts between testing stability.

I know basic info about oc.However, locked cpu does not affect overclock in other parts, right?
