Kindly correct me if I'm wrong but looking at this link https://www.techspot.com/news/61562-windows-10-download-available-now-heres-how.html
it says : If you don’t want to wait around for Microsoft to get to you, you can simply download a 32- or 64-bit copy of Windows 10 right now. & it gives this link https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6734-windows-10-installation-tool.html so my question is if I download from that link & put it on a thumb/flash drive & install from there, is that all I need to do to get W10? I know, I am impatient, but curious also. :) If this is incorrect, I'll wait :) Yes, I know my product key :) TIA

There's no need for a thumb drive. The software will take care of the installation including its activation. You won't be asked for a key.

Ok, I basically added the thumbdrive part cause I saw it mentioned someplace. I do have the download on a thumbdrive. I'll be patient for a day or so to see what happens, thank you :)

A thumb drive is necessary in the case where you intend to install the OS on a different computer. The process will take a couple of hours so you will need a good internet connection. Best of luck but I doubt that you will have any problems.
