Password Authentication System. Forgot password

I'm having the same problem as everyone else, when I turn on my computer I get "This computer system, #H6ZQ671-595B, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without correct password." I've tried the paper clip method, and it did not work. I've asked my dad since it's his old laptop but he doesn't remember it. Can someone help me out?
