PC is pyscho after IPOD CD installed

Today I installed the CD that accompanies an IPOD nano onto my PC

My PC is an Athlon AMD 64, windows XP pro, I run two screens for video editing etc

Now a window that is opened flickers, & jerk around returning to the main monitor by themselves when moved to the 2 nd monitor
Menus close suddenly, making it difficult to select any options
some times a programe I wasnt even aware of having, called muaic matcvh, just seemed to take over, even if I shut it, it would re open

The PC is difficult to shut down now

I have never seen anything like this & I am not making it up

also when the PC is restarted, windows Media Player opens without being selected
