Ok, so I know my way around XP VERY well, but my wife uses Linux KDE on her laptop which she wants hooked up to our TV and I am clueless when it comes to anything other than XP. The TV only has an s-video input so I went out and bought an s-video cable. I've connected the cable to both components, but I have no idea how to set up the TV as a second monitor. Can anyone help me here? Thanks.

I know nothing else about her operating system other than it's Linux KDE. And I only know that much from just clicking folders, lol. I also have no idea about what video card that is in her computer. All I know is that her laptop is an HP running Linux KDE.

I imagine that you get into the video properties, or control panel and set up the second video output from there
