Ok my video card just died and im getting a new one. It was Pci-e and had no power connectors on it. The new one im buying has a 6pin power conneciton on it. Now, my power supply has one of those but it is plugged into the motherboard. Can I use that one or will i have to use the cable that they provide which is a 6pin that splits into 2 4pin connectors.

Ha ha. Don't take the 6pin out of the motherboard. It's there for a reason. Use the split connector that they provided.

Actually that adapter is a molex 4 pin that splits into a 6 pin and another 4 pin. Anyway, use the adapter as All_One_Mind said.
