Perpetual BSOD auto-restart nightmare :(

  1. Hi guys,

I have an old Vaio laptop running XP, i recently re-formatted it and put in a clean install of Windows after it had slowed down to a crawl. I also upgraded the RAM

It was working like a charm until a week ago when it just started getting into a perpetual loop of restarting itself within minutes of loading windows.

The BCCode thing comes up with...

    BCCode : f4 BCP1 : 00000003 BCP2 : 85905020 BCP3 : 85905194
    BCP4 : 805C77D0 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Attached are some mini dump files.

I've cleaned the laptop out, changed the RAM and it hasn't achieved anything. It will happily run in safe mode though.

I hope you guys can help. Many thanks

"It will happily run in safe mode though"...

A sure sign of a driver problem

Any idea which driver it might be? Or is their a process I can go through to isolate which one it is?

Look in the device manager and tell us if you see any yellow exclamation marks
