Please help trouble loading games

when ever i try to load up any games it loads up a black screen for a split second then shutsdown this happens with all games ive got the latest drivers for my graphics card! please help! i have a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.

You aren't giving us much to work with, but what remedies have you tried to solve the problem? If you haven't done so already, I would recommend reinstalling your video card drivers with the latest from NVIDIA and upgrading DirectX to 9c.

Has this problem been happening the full time you have had the video card, or since you installed/uninstalled any hardware or software?
