I am trying to help my dad fix his printer, so I will be as specific as I can about the problem, but there may be several days in between what everyone suggests and me being able to get to my dad's house to try it.
My dad has an hp photosmart 7960 and has recently been having issues getting to to print. If you put a memory card into the printer it will print pictures with no issues, but if you attempt to print a picture from the PC then it comes out yellow. You can see the image somewhat, but the main tint to the picture is yellow. My dad had it serviced by HP and there is plenty of ink in the cartridge. For a while if he printed the pictured on regular paper instead of photo paper they would come out fine, or if he told the printer that he was using regular paper instead of photo paper then the picture would come out fine. But now any photo that he prints from the PC comes out yellow. Any suggestions on what we can do to fix it?
