hello everyone
can someone tell me something
is it possibile that when you print from DOS the printing quality is better then when you print from win?

Of course. The WIndows printer driver can be crappy or the printer can be misconfigured there.

You might have set it to 50 dpi while it can do 1200.. You might have told it to print black and white while it can do colour.. You might have printed something as an image instead of vector data.. There's lots of options that can go wrong. It all depends on your printer and software and drivers.

When you print plain text in DOS, then there are no drivers and the printer may use its own internal logic to render text in superb fonts and quality. When you print in Windows, the drivers may be crap and misconfigured, forcing printer to do unnatural things.
