Problem with Generic host process for win32.

I'm very glad to become part of the techspot team and thanx for the warm welcome.

I'm having this error message usually when i'm online which reads, Generic host process for win32...... and then after i send the error to microsoft, the connection ceases to operate and i've to restart the pc again. Any suggestions??

Thanx dopefisher, you see i've Windows XP SP2. The generic host process error message comes when i'm online and after i close the message the connection seems to freeze, i mean the connection icon is there but without activity and i couldn't even disconnect it and i'd have to restart the pc.

How long have you been getting this message? Maybe you could try a system restore if this just started happening.
