Problem with step 3

The only anti spyware I am running in AVG 8 (I think) When I try to download the anti malware it is doing something different from when I ran this process on my laptop. I never get to the point of downloading the software.........Any ideas?

When I try to download the anti malware it has me save a file named downloadget.php and when I try to open that file the computer tells me that it cannot open that file and wants me to browse the computer or web for the program that can open it.

Yes, I had same problem. Dreamweaver tried to open the downloaded file on my machine. I think it is a bad link. You can get the software at download.com

Same for Step # 7's HighJackThis link

I found the same problem when trying to down load Malwarebytes and HighJackThis i.e., the link provided directs you to download a file called downloadget.php I had to go to download.com to get the programs.
