PSD to Wordpress

So I have been assigned a task at work which is "slightly" out of my depth (I am a Junior "Web Developer" but a greatly more of a capable designer.

Basically I need to take a Photoshop site designed by another member of the Team and put it into a half/fully working website within 21/2 weeks. Now I have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS and about 5-6 hours per day to spend working/learning.

My main question(s).

Any guidelines, tips or web resources I can use to make my journey quicker?
What has worked for you?

I know there are plenty of tutorials out there but need to plow through the "poor" ones...

Hmm; Is it 'just' an image, or is there dynamic content vs flash?

Well it's a fully layered PSD. There is some dynamic content but no flash.

I have began making each page in barebones HTML/CSS then Il just start adding the php parts into it once I am done. There is a developer on standby (20, year younger than me :d heh) which if I am unable to do the task, he will take over. I gave my self till friday +weekends to get it at least half working, but will see.

I suppose its merely just convert the PSD into HTML/CSS then add the neccesary php Wordpress functions into it?
