R6025 Run Time Error

Have XP. PC froze and upon rebooting I was greeted with a R6025 Run-Time Error and a reference to cidaemon.exe. Was advised to go to Indexing Services and set same to manual. Upon rebooting the pc operates at a snails pace. 30 seconds at least to open a desktop folder. Ran CHKDSK,a virus/trojan scan, AD-AWARE, SpyBot and HiJack This. Reinstalled WinXP(actually repaired) but to no avail. Have seen a lot of goofy ones but this takes the cake. Any suggestions? Thank you.

First thing i do is Disable Indexing Service on all customers puters and my own..Extreme resource hog and waste of space...lmo..
