Radeon x300 help with battlefield 2

Ok can some on help me. My computer has a radeon x300 graphics card. I want to play battlefield 2 and i know it can run it but for some reason when i try to run the game it displays a error message on my task bar but it doesn't show me the message. I have played battlefield 2 before on this computer but i deleted it because i downloaded off bit lord. Now i have the real game it wont play. I don't know if it is my registry because i had trouble removing the downloaded version but now all the entry's have been deleted and there are no files remaining. what do u reckon i should do.

With regards to your problem, download CCleaner and run the registry scan, it may pick up things that got missed. What does the error message say? Pressing Alt + Tab may bring it up if you can't see it properly.
