Raid Controller Will Not Work

My dad has a raid controller so he can add another 4 IDE drives, it initially detects it at the bios stage and detects the drives ok, but after windows loading it does not detect the PCI raid controller card, therefore not picking up the drives ither.

The card is an Ultra ATA 100/133, have tried to get the drivers twice but they do not work

Does anyone have any ideas bout this??

Are you sure the card is not detected? In Device Manager switch to view devices by connection and navigate your way to the PCI bus.

Try the controller in another PCI slot?
