Reboot screen on Toshiba Satelite L655-5150

When I went to turn on the laptop I got this screen...help please. I didnt get any discs with the laptop. See pic. please sorry not much info but cant type much had hand surgery last week so Thsnk you!!!

This looks like a corrupt Master Boot Record or the hard drive is failing, it could also be Malware.

Please state you version fo Windows.

And also tell me if you can get to the Advanced Boot Menu by tapping the F8 key as soon as you switch on.

thanks for the reply.. i purchased my laptop at best buy in Feb 2011 it has windows 7 on it and yes i can get to the adv.boot.schedule with f2 or f10 i believe. thsnks

Start tapping the F8 key immediately after starting the PC. This will take you to the "Advanced Boot Options". On some OEM machines hit the F8 key immediately after the logo dissapears.

Select "Repair Your Computer", answer the prompts and then the "System Recovery Options" menu will appear.

Then select Startup Repair and let me know what happens, follow any prompts that appear.
