How do I remove scratches from dvd's & cd's?

If your dvds-cds have a bigger white scratches in them towards the middle don't bother trying to save it.

I've found out something else, if the scratches are not too deep, you can use some neutral shoe polish or car wax to polish out the scratches. If they are not too deep it might make a dvd or cd work, some of mine did. Also, it will protect the surface of the disk from getting scratches in the first place, like waxing a floor or an automobile.
