Fascist tactics, plain and simple. I rest my case. Romania is reverting to its old ways of just telling the people directly who they're allowed to vote for.
The mere fact you offer "pro-legionnaire, pro-russian and an advocate of misogyny" as grounds for banning people from voting for him is more proof of the authoritarian turn Romania has taken. What you really mean to say is "I'll only allow those to run for office if they align precisely with my own personal political views".

FYI being a legionnaire (or Iron Guard member) or praising/supporting them is ILLEGAL in Romania (as is with most nazi things in Europe). It's why before the elections another candidate was removed from the list. But hey, you must have glanced at that part and @emmzo simply didn't know.
Did you know that neo-nazi in the Charlottesville rally had t-shirts promoting the Iron Guard and Codreanu? Matthew Heimbach wore that t-shirt even when going to court.

"And what is this have to do with the Russians attack?" - it has a lot to do. Romania is becoming a major Nato power in the region with a large new large base being built here. It's also the strongest supporter of Moldova joining the EU and the one who is helping Moldova from crumbling because of the blackmail in the energy sector which is controlled by Russia.
Russia needs a supporter in Romania to put a stop to us helping Moldova and Ukraine and to weaken NATO's influence in the region.
Do you know FA Agency (the foreign marketing agency that paid influencers to promote CG), which was supposed to be from South Africa, but is actually from Poland and according to the intelligence reports has ties to Russia? They've effectively deleted themselves from the web (social media, work, team, etc).
The barebones website https://faagency.org/ is still there and the source code was checked... and surprise surprise, it's a fully custom website with russian comments made by the devs that worked on it. (and it uses a combination of AI images and stolen low res cropped images in the background)
It's a ghost company, a fake company that doesn't exist. Its name doesn't appear in any polish company records.

None proven in a Court of Law, Supreme Court can only judge Constitutional law. No trials pending. No proof of dates, times, persons, only suppositions. Should we wait the authorities to "produce" the proof? Then why stop the election? Why are people protesting on social media being arrested or harassed by the police? They say they are instigators. The only TV station talking about this has been temporarily suspended yesterday. Now they are trying to take their license for "actions against the public order". I'm honestly afraid of using FB. Does this look like democracy to you?
"No trials pending." -thank you for saying that because as per usual you "don't know" (even though I wrote about it before), that criminal cases are in fact opened by several justice departments pertaining to the illegal financing of CG and the interference of outside forces in our elections.

Now all you have to do is wait for the justice department to work on the case. Unlike the communist times, they can't just throw people in jail immediately, they need to properly construct the case and bring it in front of the judge.

Realitatea TV had for 10 minutes to show a text about what they did wrong, because of a stupid thing they did in 2023 and was scheduled recently because of the delays (their appeal which was eventually rejected), it had nothing to do with the current situation.

Do you work for National security? How could you know there is proof? Because they told you so? None has been presented. How can you say a TV should be banned because of misinformation? Do the authorities establish what is and what is not true? Unbelievable!

You don't deny that CG was financed during his campaign, you are just simply telling the world that CG didn't know about it and that just some random people decided, without his knowledge, to use millions of dollars to support him.
I also love how recently CG went from not knowing and never meeting Potra, to meeting him at Marriott Hotel, but the pictures are 4 years old and he doesn't remember him, and then... not going with him at the Ciolpani horse farm to "I went to the farm, but I didn't participate in the discussion with him, it was my team's idea".
If there's something in common between you and CG is that you both keep saying "I don't know"
I'm going to stop replying because I'm sure this guy is eager to make a complaint to the police and save democracy. Draw your own conclusions if you have been reading so far. Romania is in a dark place right now, but we, Romanians have been living here for 2000 years, we'll solve this one out.
Correct, we'll solve this one, the process has already started. And no, we aren't in a dark place, Romania has never been better. The living standards are improving, average salary has gone up a lot in the past decade, new infrastructure is finally being built, NATO is heavily investing in our country, tourism has been growing, we're in Schengen now and we are not tied to Russian gas anymore.
Hey, if you were a neo-nazi supporter then yes, I would have sent your info to the police. But as it stands, you just simply don't know what is happening.
