Inactive Rootkit avast pop up while installing update to itunes

I am in the middle of doing updates, as I would any week. iTunes has been telling me to update for a few days. I went to the itunes website to get the file today. I downloaded it no problem. I started the install with how I wanted installed and walked away for a few minutes while it updated. When I came back the attached picture had popped up on my screen. I have NEVER had it happen before and I don't know what to select so it's still sitting open on my screen. I only use iTunes to connect my iPod nano 3G (small fat rectangle, not the long rectanlge one cir. 2007) to add new songs. No other device is connected to iTunes. I've never before had problems with updates for iTunes. Please advise me what to do.

You can remove/mark this inactive if you don't think it was a real threat. After approx 7hrs sitting open, my computer (or avast at least) decided that it was doing what it wanted and [removed it?] did a boot scan for a freakin' hour! If there's a test or tests you think would benefit, I will still do them.

If you wish we can run some checks...

Please, complete all steps listed here: https://www.techspot.com/community/...lware-removal-preliminary-instructions.58138/
Make sure, you PASTE all logs. If some log exceeds 50,000 characters post limit, split it between couple of replies.
Attached logs won't be reviewed.

Please, observe following rules:
  • Read all of my instructions very carefully. Your mistakes during cleaning process may have very serious consequences, like unbootable computer.
  • If you're stuck, or you're not sure about certain step, always ask before doing anything else.
  • Please refrain from running any tools, fixes or applying any changes to your computer other than those I suggest.
  • Never run more than one scan at a time.
  • Keep updating me regarding your computer behavior, good, or bad.
  • The cleaning process, once started, has to be completed. Even if your computer appears to act better, it may still be infected. Once the computer is totally clean, I'll certainly let you know.
  • If you leave the topic without explanation in the middle of a cleaning process, you may not be eligible to receive any more help in malware removal forum.
  • I close my topics if you have not replied in 5 days. If you need more time, simply let me know. If I closed your topic and you need it to be reopened, simply PM me.

  • When done, please post the two logs produced they will be in the MBAR folder..... mbar-log-xxxxx.txt and system-log.txt

===========================================================
Note: <<<< - very important - please do this step:
If no additional threats were found, verify that your system is now running normally, making sure that the following items are functional:
Internet access
Windows Update
Windows Firewall
(if used)
If there are additional problems with your system, such as any of those listed above or other system issues, then run the fixdamage tool included with Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit located in the mbar\plugins folder and reboot.
Verify that your system is now functioning normally.

Soo..that means there is something on it? :\
Any clue how? I mean, it came up from a legit iTunes download - how is that possible?
