Sandra lite system report!! i dont understand

my computer has not been running right the last week or so, so i downloaded sisoftwares sandra lite + it came up with the following report:

could anyone plese give me some advice as i dont undestand some of it. i went into bios but dont know where to start. the bit where it says explorer consumes a large amount of memory, do i need explorer as i have firefox as my browser? any help is very much appreciated...thank you

These messages are harmless.

If you want to play the latest games with good image quality and frame rates, otherwise you're fine with the onboard graphics.

Notice 224: System BIOS : SMBIOS/DMI information may be inaccurate.
Tip 212: System BIOS : BIOS can be shadowed so check whether it is.
Tip 211: System BIOS : BIOS is flash-able and socketed so it can be upgraded when needed.

Sandra's information may be inaccurate too. BIOS upgrades are recommended only if there are known problems related to BIOS.

Yes, more inaccurate information. I guess Sandra doesn't detect the Vcore (CPU core voltage) properly.

Refresh rate makes no difference with LCD monitors. Removing wallpaper matters if you have less than 64 MB of RAM.

Funny that it doesn't say what would be optimal. Maybe it means that "Advanced performance", ie. write cache is disabled in Device Manager's hdd settings.

If you're using a third-party firewall, it's usually recommended to disable Windows' builtin firewall.

Explorer is needed to draw the desktop and taskbar, among other things. It's not the same as Internet Explorer.

It probably just nags about memory usage if it's above a couple of megabytes.

WIA, for example, is required for webcams and scanners.

Indexing Service, if properly configured, will speed up file searches a lot.
