Screen lights up when charger is plugged in

I have a Acer Aspire One D270 that I replaced the screen in and now when I plug in the charger & the pc is not turned on the screen lights up white. Does anyone know if the problem is with the new replacement screen or is it caused by something else. it;s an aftermarket screen made in China if that matters.
