My computer came with 8 Gig's of Dell ram (2 sticks 4 gig's each) so I purchased two more sticks of compatible Crucial ram . The Dell shows it's Hyundai ram & the Crucial is Crucial as expected.
CPU-Z shows the below, the Cas # latency is very different 13,14,15.16 for the Dell branded ram and 16,17,18,19 for the Crucial branded ram.
The Crucial says it is 2132 while the Dell is 2134 , specs are for 2133 system ram .
Obviously these are not an exact match although it doesn't cause any problems that I can see . My question is would there be any benefit to sticking in EXACT matching ram where the latency matches etc.. or will it be of no benefit whatsoever.
