Hi people,

I've got Ubuntu 20-04 on a laptop and a Windows 10 on a PC both using the same WiFi to have access to the Internet. I know there might be many ways to connect them together to share files between the two, but which is the best way and easy from your points of view, please?

Thanks.

Samba 1.0 sharing. Uses Print/File sharing ports and well known software to enable the connection -- sole issue is to enable Samba 1.0

When I type smb://192.168.... it connects to the Windows machine but can't access the folders. Is it because I've not enabled Samba?

Enable Samba 1.0 on the Linux AND the Windows, then set file sharing as normal
