Silicon Valley reacts to Donald Trump's victory

Yet another example of are broken electoral voting system... Only 1 republican president was voted by majority of the USA in the last 24 years.

We don't need luck. We've got common sense, a work ethic, and a great new President that we elected. After we're done laughing at all the delusional lefty crybabies who called us Nazis for the past year, we're getting back to work making America great again.
Right ....Obama said "elections have consequences " ....he was right ...he got his azzzz handed to him in Nov.2014 and just now with Clinton in Nov. 2016 ☺

As it should Obama's legacy of ruin will be rubble along with the ACA ,Iran deal and his executive overreach .
The left , BLM, Obama , Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid ,the DNC ,the media corruption and others poisoned the Democratic party its a heap of rubble for a good while ☺

Pffttt.... A constitutional democratic representative republic is not a simple democratic majority mob rule nor should it be with all the uninformed liberals and the epic vote harvesting unlawful immigration without conviction or regard for America and Americans by the corrupt, mind poisoned 'progressive' liberal democrats out there .

Knock off the Russia crap, cry baby. It's you clowns on the left that embraced socialism and other isms because you can't hack life on your own and want to remain dependent on govt. Time for you all to grow up and fend for yourselves instead of running around the streets having tantrums.

Donating money to campaigns need to stop.
Well Trump had over $5 Billion before the campaign and Hillary only has $80 Million (Celebrity Net Worth).

What do you think would happen if a Billionaire goes up against a Millionaire - and says things outrageous enough to get FREE media coverage?

Do you have any idea how much more the Clinton camp spent than Trump? It wasn't even close.

And they still lost.

In other news, both Mexico and Canada want to renegotiate NAFTA this week. So much for the "buffoon" narrative.

Mexico and Canada are shaking in thier boots about unilateral trade re negotiation with the Trump election victory and bilateral NAFTA ( maybe appropriately ) on the Trump meat axe chopping block since they are surely about to get handed thier azzeez by someone who wont blink in negotiations aka Trump style .

Unfavorable to USA unilateral and bilateral trade agreements evolved from a 70 year old war torn nation rebuilding doctrine following WWII and were always lopsided unfavorably to the U.S .and never re negotiated fairly to America likely because of political corruption and bad economic and trade policy's ,the WTCA and moreover and more recently corrupt liberal globalism ,none of this is lost on Trump's policy positions . OTOH a balance still favorable to US exports and consumers should be a priority instead of a trade war .

The salt mines can dig up their own links to verify this, but someone just threw a neat summary of the day's news into a single image. The narrative can suck a fat one:

Edit: Missing from above this is the change in rhetoric from the Philippines' president, Duterte.

Surely you jest! Hillary outspent Trump 10 to 1 during this campaign. Granted, it was not all her money, but backed by George Soros, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and a number of other billionaires. she outspent Trump. She also was funded by Wall Street, so she owed all those people big time plus the Sheiks from the Middle East. She and Bill are worth much more than 80 Million - don;t know whose backside you plucked that number from, but it is way low. Plus Clintons spent very little of their money. Trump on the other hand spent a lot more of his money than Hillary (and Bill). Plus Trump was funded mostly by small donations. He received no help from the Koch brothers like Romney, McCain, the Bushes, et al. Do a little research the next time, not BS you get from the leftist lamestream media.

It was reported that outspent the Trump campaign by 10 to 1 minimally.

Agree, but will never happen. There is a check box on your income tax return for donating to elections. You realize there isn't enough donated by the people to run a week's worth of TV ads (probably more than a week, but not a hell of a lot). Also, one reason why the candidates don't except the "government money that is available with very tight restrictions.

So the extra few thousand that came from NYC and LA should dictate to the rest of the country how things should be run! Exactly why the founding fathers set up the electoral college. They didn't want one "small group" (figuratively) telling the rest of the country what to do. To bad you leftist were educated by a failed educational system that made you think the Kardashians and their ilk were more important than understanding the foundation on which this country was built.

Better than the Hillary supporters being members of the National Socialist party (NAZI). Her demonstrators are just like the NAZI goons that started WWII. She, herself, is the incarnation of Adolph Hitler - ask any SS member that guarded the Clintons. Too bad the lamestream media is filled with A-holes that lie continuously to the American public.

If you can believe CBS news, (and I don't see a reason not to), Hillary Clinton's campaign pumped out 1.5 billion, compared to Trump's @ 800 million.

The beauty of it was, Trump's rhetoric was aimed at his Republican base, evangelicals and the heartland. Every negative ad Clinton ran against him, only served to make him more popular with his ever expanding base.

Clinton's delivery is that of a incessantly carping shrew, certainly nothing like the rich baritone Obama displays. As a consequence, the more she ran her mouth, the more people I believe she alienated.

Her campaign promises were in actuality, more outrageous than Trump's. Everyone in the US is going to get a free college education. Dream on poop heads. Education is a business, and the more dire you make the necessity of a college degree appear, the more you can charge for one.

Fifteen dollars an hour as the minimum wage? Get real. If that ever happened, you'd be paying $4.00 for a small coke at McDonald's. The already outrageous cost of American manufactured goods would skyrocket, and the dollar would be a damned near 1 to 1 exchange rate with the rupee.

The electoral college is no longer needed, our vote count is no longer carried by horse back. The voting system needs to be upgraded the same way our communications was upgraded. Our voting system is stuck in the 1800's.

In truth we do need the electoral college. It ties into states rights. Electors are apportioned by a state's population. You win a state, you get its electors. And while it might seem unfair when a candidate wins without a plurality in the popular vote, think how unfair it would be if everybody in Rhode Island voted for a single candidate, which granted the majority of the popular vote to that candidate, preempting the rest of the nations wishes.

Trump has a majority in both the House & Senate that will remain for the next two years .... that being said, he won't have any excuses for not accomplishing all of his promises ... so now the work begins and we'll see how good a leader he is by his choices and his actions. We can all hope for the best, but we would also be wise to prepare for the worst. Only time will tell.
You are right, he carries a big burden of all the almost impossible promises he had made during the trail of his campaign, like building the wall would cost billions of dollars and a period of 16 years so, yeah he has to live up to the expectations.

Deplorables = 47%

Her only real moment was the concession speech she gave. Had she appeared human during the campaign, she may have won it.

In any even, you must remember, we Trumpkins are the violent fascists. Not progs/libs (see [warning: no.2 is graphic]: 1, 2, 3).

Clinton's whole campaign was projection of the above. Every last bit of it.

She lost because her and her ilk are not merely unlikeable, they are savages who, in my humble and incredibly accurate opinion, have no place in civilized society. I'm not saying I support the mass deportation and exile of progressives, but there is a growing population that does. Feeding them to sharks or abandoning them all on Brazil's Snake Island wouldn't exactly be uncalled for, to some.

Never seen such a group of sore losers in my life. Grow the eff up! I didn't say "not my president' when obama won just because I disagree with him on almost everything! This is the problem with the millennial generation... a bunch of safe space wussies that cry to mommy when they don't get their way, that shout down and close up when someone voices opposition to their opinion, and who protest against common sense because things "aren't fair"!

We need another war with a draft to thin out this heard and create real men and women out of the one's that make it back

It is needed... who would campaign in places like Iowa, Ohio, South Carolina, or New Hampshire?? The candidates would just stay in the big cities and disregard the whole middle section of the country....

First off I don't think that is relevant. Secondly it doesn't matter where the campaigning takes place as long as everyone can watch the TV. As I said we are no longer restricted by riding horses.
