SLI is a joke

i had bought 2 evga gtx 295 and put those puppies in quad sli, bought 3d mark vantage and got a score 23-24,000

my friend convinced me to take one back that its worthless and mainly used for multipile screens, so i did

ran vantage again and got a score of around 21.7k!!!!
i spent over 500 dollars more to get a little more than 1k higher score!
but at least i took it back : )

sli is only used for multipile screens dont buy into it!!!!

putting 2 together douse NOT double your memory!

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but this is more-or-less known and well-documented. In fact, using a GTX 295 for anything less than a screen capable of 2560x1600 is a waste IMO, since the real power of the card is very visible at this resolution.

It's good to know though that we finally have someone saying other than "OMG! LOL my PC is teh PWNAGE! 4096MB of VRAM!".
