Sluggish in web browser

About 10 mins ago, looking at web pages, etc everything was moving really slow, like a sluggish feeling. But after playing a game for about 5 mins, i exit the game and back online again and everything is moving fast.

So what was causing the sluggish?

Other than being a problem with your ISP, the slowness could be caused by other programs running in the background or you have too many things loaded in your startup folder. Is your computer free of viruses and other malware? Do you keep current with all the MS updates?
