Something funny is happening after a new RAM install

  1. I just installed another gig of ram (512 x 2) in my system. These 2 sticks are exactly the same as the other 2 that are in. But now something funny is happening. First of all, I crashed 3 times in a row trying to print a word document. And also, startup takes noticeable longer. It hangs a little when it detects the ram and the IDE devices... Should I just RMA it and get it over with?

Did you clear cmos so it redetects?
I would run ram Memtest before RMA.

No, I didn't clear CMOS... I was only home for a bit so I could only install it and run a few apps. Games weren't crashing, but printing was making the computer reboot. I'll try and clear CMOS, and run memtest though, thanks.
