Sonic My DVD issues - files too large?

I have successfully converted about 2 hours of analog, 8mm tape to DVD using Sonic My DVD ver. 4.5. (1hr/dvd). When trying to conver the next hour's worth, it would not let me build a file any longer than about 25 minutes even though it said it recorded about 60 minutes. I previewed the video in with the editor function, and there ws definitely much less than 1 hr. Any ideas - everything had been working fine? I noticed that the video projects are in C:../My Documents/My DVD's. Is there a limit to that folder size? I wouldn't think so.

Are you using Win98 or WInXP? I think Win98 can't handles files bigger than 4GB. Does the program requires you to purchase it? If so are there any trial restrictions?

Thanks for the suggetions. I'm using XP with a Pentium 4 @ 2.4 GHz and 512 MB RAM. I purchased the software so that shouldn't be a problem either. It's just weird that it was working fine then all of a sudden stopped
