Sonic Wall and Cisco

Oct 19, 2007
  1. My client has 3 offices. Each offices is connected to each other using a VPN tunnel through Sonic Wall TZ170. One of the Sonic Walls is dead, and because their VOIP vendor is recommending Cisco over Sonic Wall, I was thinking of replacing the dead sonic wall with a cisco router instead. Would this cause any issues? Especailly with the VPN tunnel. Any thoughts, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

No I don't think moving to a Cisco router would cause any trouble

That is if you know how to set up the Cisco :p

Other than that, IPsec is standard stuff and the device vendor is pretty irrelevant.
