Sony Laptop

I've owned a Sony Laptop for a little over 2 years now. For about half of that time, all the functions on it worked properly. After a year though, I realized that there is no more wireless capability (I had it hardwired all the time). Always having it hardwired, I waited til a few weeks ago to try to fix the problem. The first thing I noticed is that I no longer have a wireless adapter enable/disable button anywhere. I looked through my device list and have to click "show hidden devices" to find the adapter. I'm pretty sure its something to do with my drivers, but in every attempt to download Sony's latest drivers, my wireless still won't pop up. If anyone has this same issue or knows what I'm doing wrong, I'd be thankful for your help.

Its a different type possibly. Sony told me I had the one from Brazil. It has all those features minus the graphics card. It has integrated Intel graphics.
