Sound Problem when using WinDvd

I have a soundblaster live! value card, with a logitech 4 speak suround sound system. I have been trying to watch dvds using windvd, but for some reason the program refuses to pick up anymore than 2 speakers, even when I have my mixer set to four. I tried using Powerdvd, and it picks up 4, but I would much rather use Windvd. It was picking up the 4 speakers yesterday, but today apsolutly refuses. I have tried reinstalling the software, and my audio drivers are up to date. Any solutions?

Try downloading WinDVD Tweaker from here http://3dgamer.tripod.com/
That allows you to set the Audio out options for WinDVD. I had a similar problem to yours once & this got me around it. The Demo version will work just fine for this.
