Sound Problem when using WinDvd

  1. I have a soundblaster live! value card, with a logitech 4 speak suround sound system. I have been trying to watch dvds using windvd, but for some reason the program refuses to pick up anymore than 2 speakers, even when I have my mixer set to four. I tried using Powerdvd, and it picks up 4, but I would much rather use Windvd. It was picking up the 4 speakers yesterday, but today apsolutly refuses. I have tried reinstalling the software, and my audio drivers are up to date. Any solutions?

Try downloading WinDVD Tweaker from here
That allows you to set the Audio out options for WinDVD. I had a similar problem to yours once & this got me around it. The Demo version will work just fine for this.
