Inactive Sound suddenly just went completely out

I don't know if it is a virus issue but the computer has been acting hinky lately and now this. I have no idea what to do, I can usually fix this sort of thing. I am using an external usb audio device with a 4 in 1 speaker on a dell precision t5400 with windows 7 and plenty of ram and hard drive space

Now it asked me the password for my outgoing mail out of the blue, something is very wrong.

Make sure, you PASTE all logs. If some log exceeds 50,000 characters post limit, split it between couple of replies.
