Stop programs from automatically adding Tasks to Scheduler?

I am running Windows 7 and use the Task Scheduler a lot. But it seems like every time I open it (every two weeks or so), some program has automatically added a task all on its own. "Flash updates", "Real Player updates", etc and so on... even though I've turned "automatic updates" off in those programs. So I delete them, but a few days later, something else is sure to show up and eventually, those tasks I deleted previously also return. Very annoying. It also seems like a huge security loophole.

I there any way to block programs from automatically adding "tasks" to my Task Scheduler without my permission?
