Stretched Screen

I just got a new 20 inch Acer monitor. No disk or anything came with it. I hook it up and everything looks stretched. I have an ATI graphics card and looked through some of the utilities and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Some video cards can detect the Monitor and adjust it. Those monitors are plug-in-play. Check Acer site for the driver, if not then set the ATI to 16:9 wide screen or 1440x1280. Make sure that the ATI can handle these modes. Before you change the screen size. If you make a mistake you can always go into the safe mode press last known instead.

Also update the driver for ATI if it doesn't work get another video card.
